Aries was abandoned at just two months old—left in a box beside the shelter gates with her litter of eight. Sadly, one didn’t survive, but the remaining seven have grown into gentle, resilient pups. We don’t know their parents but expect them to be medium-sized; Aries will likely weigh around 40 pounds when fully grown.
She’s a very sweet, quiet girl—one of the more submissive pups of her litter. While she’s great with people and other dogs, she doesn’t do well around overly excitable, high-energy dogs. Aries takes time to adjust to new environments, but once she feels safe, her playful side shines through. She loves the water, just like the rest of her litter, and her gentle nature makes her a wonderful companion for someone patient and kind.
Because she’s spent much of her young life in the shelter, Aries will need an adopter who understands the importance of decompression time. She’ll thrive with someone willing to work with her—teaching her to walk on leash, explore new experiences, and build confidence at her own pace. With love and patience, she’ll blossom into the loyal, joyful dog she’s meant to be.
