Bamboo came to us from Mezcales. Our director was passing through and saw a homeless man with a puppy. Initially she had only asked to take him to the vet and would return him. Once she returned, the man, also a drug addict, felt it was best if he relinquished Bamboo to our care to give him a better life.
This little guy is all love. He has finished his vetting protocols and doing really well. He’s your typical playful pup who loves being held on his back. He will stay so extremely calm and fall asleep when held this way! Not knowing his parents we can’t fully predict his size but likely 40-50lbs. He is super dog social!! Bamboo went to a local foster home right after he was neutered. He has learned how to walk on leash and live in a home. He is housetrained. The fosters have two other dogs (both adopted from us), so he’s still able to be very social. Bamboo can be applied for now!!
