beba
Female - Terrier/Poodle mix
Age: June 2024 | Weight: 6kg
We were contacted about Beba after someone found her hiding in some bushes during a rain storm, in Mezcales. She was alone and the woman brought her home to protect her. She didn’t see any posts of her as being “lost”. The woman reached out to us after holding her for a few days, as she had hoped someone would claim her. When we received her, she had milk. That means at some point she had puppies. We reached back out to the woman who found her, who said there were no puppies around. Unfortunately, we don’t know her story…so we do not know if she was lost, dumped or out searching for food. No puppies were ever located in the area she was found, nor did the woman even realize she had milk. Our biggest challenge is not knowing when she had puppies and trying to determine when she can be spayed. She came to us early December 2025, so to be safe, we will wait to spay her until February. Of course her milk has since dried up.
She has settled in with us and is completely fine around other dogs. She can be a bit cautious around people until she feels safe, but is very sweet when she trusts someone. We do need to check her in an “in cabin” bag, to know if she can fly that way. She certainly makes the weight but we have yet to check her height while standing in a bag.
