Bimba: dob-July 2022, 5.7 kg
One of our staff members met these two at a chicken (food) stand in San Vicente. Their owner, owned the restaurant. She said they loved them however, they didn’t want to keep them. They fed them but otherwise provided almost no care. They were left to live outside 24/7, rain or shine, and roam like street dogs. The owners asked us to take them.
We did not initially plan to adopt them as a pair, but their bond is very strong. We were told they are mom and son. We will not separate them under any circumstances. If they get separated at all they frantically seek each other out. Bimba was already spayed when we received her and we had Bimbo neutered. They have both now finished their vetting protocols and can be applied for. They are super nice dogs who do extremely well around other dogs. They love people and crave attention. They do not get walked on leash so may need work with that, as well, we can’t be sure they’re house trained but so far they seem to be. These two will not last long! They are smaller but they are too large to fly in cabin. They can’t fly to the US or Canada until the airline summer heat embargos are over as of Nov 1. They can be applied for and reserved now!
