Blueberry was found not far from the shelter, roaming on the road alone. She was extremely bloated, like we’ve never seen before. She was also filled with ticks. Apparently the fluid in her belly was from anemia and anaplasma, a tick born illness. She has improved every day and the swelling has gone down. She is a very sweet pup, social and loving. She does super well with the other dogs and is quite playful. Her vetting protocols are now finished and she is ready for adoption. We expect her to be medium is size, around 40lbs.
Blueberry is happy, healthy and finished with her vetting protocols. She is very dog and human social. She will make a great companion for someone and can live in about any home.
