Blueberry was found not far from the shelter, roaming on the road alone. She was extremely bloated, like we’ve never seen before. She was also filled with ticks. Apparently the fluid in her belly was from anemia and anaplasma, a tick born illness. She has improved every day and the swelling has gone down. She is a very sweet pup, social and loving. She is going through her vetting protocols and we anticipate she will be ready for adoption in September. We expect her to be medium is size, around 40lbs.
