Bolita has been with us since June 2023, she came to us with her companion, Sol, after their owner passed away. Though family members were supposed to care for them, they were not, and we were contacted to step in. We welcomed them both into our shelter family.

This sweet senior spends her days in Puppyland, where she shares her quiet wisdom with the younger dogs. The little ones adore her, often treating her like their grandma. Bolita has a gentle spirit that shines through — she loves attention, wagging her tail when people stop to visit, and enjoying the comfort of safety and companionship.

Because of her age, Bolita is now a cherished sanctuary dog. She is available locally as a forever foster, where she could enjoy the warmth of a home, but otherwise she will remain with us, living out her golden years surrounded by love and care.

Bolita is a reminder of the beauty of senior dogs — calm, wise, and endlessly deserving of kindness.
