Bruno
Male - Mixed Breed
Age: September 2010 | Weight: 27.9 kg
Bruno has been with us since September 2022, after being found as a stray near Sam’s in Puerto Vallarta. This senior boy has faced many medical challenges: erlichea, anemia, chronic skin problems, and a severe ear abscess that required surgery and partial ear amputation. He now also lives with renal failure, needing medication and special food to stay comfortable.
Through it all, Bruno’s spirit has never dimmed. He LOVES playing with toys and lights up when given attention. He’s a kind, affectionate dog who reminds us daily how much joy seniors bring.
Because of his age, health, and airline breed restrictions, Bruno cannot travel by plane. He is now considered a sanctuary dog — meaning he will remain under our care and protection for the rest of his life. But Bruno still deserves the warmth of a home.
We had been seeking a forever foster for Bruno: someone local in the Bay, or willing to drive him out, who can provide him with love, stability, and companionship but he hasn’t had interest.
