Chipotle first appeared at a home in the Santa Fe Colonial of San José, covered in ticks and underweight. We knew right away this sweet boy needed help. With vet testing we found he was anemic. With proper care and a steady feeding schedule, his anemia has improved and he’s now thriving. The vet expects him to stay medium‑sized, under 45 lbs/20kg. He’s already vaccinated, neutered, and full of joy. Confident yet easygoing, Chipotle loves playing. He’d do well as the only dog, soaking up all the attention, or as part of a pack.
This handsome pup is potty trained, leash trained, and currently living happily in a foster home with other dogs. His perfect size and upbeat personality make him an ideal adventure buddy.
His foster says: Chipotle is a spunky, social, playful little dude and the best cuddler you’re ever going to meet. When he’s not “giving hugs” he’s got his head on your lap and loves attention from all the humans. He’s learning to play fetch, loves playing with toys and gets super excited when he sees his leash come out. He gets hilarious zoomies and “hops” when he’s excited. He’s also obsessed with ice cubes. He’d do best in a semi-active home. We think he’d do well with kids but cats aren’t recommended. Overall, he’d be a sweet, goofy little buddy for someone.
