Choco has been waiting far too long—over six years—for a family of his own. Found in Bucerías thin and injured, he has grown into a sweet senior who loves sun‑soaked naps, belly rubs, face scratches, and rolling around with his toys. He’s excellent on leash, enjoys playtime, and gets along well with other dogs.
Choco is heartworm positive but asymptomatic; he will be retested before adoption and needs an adopter or foster committed to his treatment. At around 8–9 years old, he would likely prefer a quiet home where he can finally enjoy the love and comfort he deserves. His adoption fee will be the cost of the flight crate fee and other fee’s will be waved.
