Dora’s Journey: From Rescue to Sanctuary
This precious girl was abandoned as a newborn in early January 2024. She was found wrapped in a towel with a baby bottle, left on the roadside near our shelter. Thankfully, a kind passerby saw her and brought her to safety.
As soon as she could walk, Dora began exploring her world with fearless curiosity—earning her the name “Dora, the Explorer.” Over time, we discovered she has hip dysplasia, a condition that requires lifelong medication and supplements.
Because of her medical needs, Dora will remain with us as a cherished sanctuary resident. She continues to explore, play, and thrive under our care, surrounded by love and the stability she deserves.
