Estrella was picked up along with Rex, from the beach in Nuevo. Someone noticed both dogs wandering for at least 3 days. They were covered in fleas, dehydrated and a bit underweight. A woman rescued both of them and took to her personal vet to start their care and treatment. She posted trying to find their owner or an adoptive home but had no luck. Normally we do not help in these cases, however, when asked, we said we would accept them and try to find them homes.
Both are very dog social. Estrella seems to love dogs and humans! She didn’t skip a beat when she arrived and blended right in. She is available with or without Rex, as we know the difficulty in adopting one dog let alone a bonded pair. She will be completely fine being adopted without him. She’s now ready to find her new forever home!
