Gala and her pup were found living in the streets of Mezcales. They were not being taken care of. The poor pup was full of ticks and they obviously needed help. They are both now safe and getting the care they need at the shelter. Gala is a beautiful, very short little girl.

Gala is sociable and absolutely LOVES cuddles and receiving lots of love! She doesn't know how to play with toys yet. You can tell she has been through a lot, because if you shout or walk too loudly or too fast, or make certain movements, she gets scared and makes herself tiny. But little by little she has been coming out of her shell and socializing more. She loves treats! She loves walking between people, wagging her tail, and rolling over for belly rubs.

The first time we gave her a little bed, she loved it so much that she climbed right in and fell asleep immediately.

She is Gala, proud mama of little Gaia, and she is ready to find her forever home!
