We were contacted about 2 dogs in rough shape who had been abandoned by someone near the dump in Punta Mita. They were left to be cared for by a man who lives there in unsuitable conditions himself. On April 15 we welcomed them into our care.
GINO estimated to be 10-12 years old. Erlichea, anemia, malnourished and heartworm positive.
Both dogs are in very good spirits and doing well around the other dogs. Gino will stay as a long term resident (available locally as forever foster) due to age and his HW+ status.
