🐾 Hope – Our Loving Paralyzed Girl
Hope has been with us since December 2023, after being found crawling in the streets of Puerto Vallarta. The kind person who discovered her immediately scooped her up and searched for help, and we were able to welcome her into our care.
Hope is paralyzed in her back end and fully incontinent, but that doesn’t stop her from being one of the most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. She thrives on human attention and does wonderfully with other dogs.
We don’t know how she became paralyzed or how long she lived this way before arriving, but what we do know is that Hope’s spirit is unstoppable. She absolutely loves zooming around in her wheelchair and playing with toys, showing us every day that joy has no limits.
Because of her medical needs, Hope is a sanctuary dog who will remain in our care for the rest of her life. Our promise to her is simple: to give her the best life possible, filled with love, play, and more kindness than she’s ever known.
