Jay Z
Breed Appearance: Blackmouth Cur, Retriever
Male-mixed breed
Age: February 2024 | Weight: 24kg
Jay Z came from a litter of 8 puppies known as the Coilbri litter. They were found hiding under tree brush while we were searching for another litter of 3 pups someone had reported to us. They were located right outside of the Colibri neighborhood on the east side of Bucerias. Found at only 6 weeks old, they were of course very nervous. They have all opened up now and are your typical playful dogs. They can be a little timid to new people and things but once they know they are safe, they are back to being playful. Their mom was around the area where they were found but she was impossible to catch. We went back many times to try and gain her trust but she seems to have disappeared. She was around 35-40lbs. We do not know their dad(s).
Jay Z is very loving. He walks well on leash and loves the water. He is out all day around many dogs and does extremely well. He truly wants a family to call his own! We honestly can’t believe he’s never had interest and is spending his life in a shelter. There is no reason at all he’s still with us. Fully ready for adoption and travel!
