oaquin is one of seven puppies born to a sweet mama named Fox. Sadly, three of the puppies did not survive. The family was rescued from a dangerous spot along a busy road in Puerto Vallarta, where their lives were at serious risk. Now thriving, Joaquin has grown into a lovable, playful pup weighing about 50 lbs. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a gentle, easygoing nature. While he can be timid with new people and situations, with patience and time he warms up beautifully.
Joaquin would likely benefit from having another dog in the home, though it isn’t required. What matters most is that his future adopter understands the patience and care some dogs need to adjust to life outside the shelter. He has never shown aggression and is usually very quiet, making him a calm and endearing companion.
Joaquin is fully ready for his chance at a forever home—a family who will give him the love, security, and time he deserves.
