Tipi and Joy were rescued from Tepic, Nayarit. They had an owner, an older gentleman, who clearly neglected them. Anytime he would leave the house, the two dogs would sneak out and a woman would feed them. Seeing their conditions deteriorating, she posted them as needing rescue. We were able to find someone to transport them to us.
Joy can be initially timid but also warms up quickly. She loves being held. Clearly she needs to gain some weight! She also needs to be spayed when healthier. She being treated now for an infection causing her to pee blood. She should be fully ready for adoption by the end of September.
