Lana and Tuco were rescued together. Lana was spotted a week prior to rescue but we weren’t able to grab her. Then seeing her again, Tuco was with her and he was in worse shape. They were most likely abandoned and were found near Paraisio Vallarta, which is a housing development about 10 minutes from the shelter.
She is a timid little pup who takes time to trust, but she does warm up. She is fine around other dogs. Her blood platelets were very elevated but she’s also a but underweight. She will be spayed and vaccinated in September then available for adoption. She definitely needs a quieter home. We think kids are ok but not really young kids, as they may be too much for her.
