On May 19, we welcomed Livvi into our care. She was originally posted on Facebook by a kind person who found her and reached out to us for help. It appears Livvi was hit by a car near the Mega grocery store in Bucerías. She had several scrapes and cuts, along with an injury to her pelvis. She fractured the pelvis which sadly is a very common occurrence here. Livvi got some much-needed rest and recovery in Puppyland and has already healed! Livvi is a tiny girl, weighing just 4.5 kg (9.9 lbs). Our veterinarian estimates she is approximately 7 years old. She is incredibly sweet and comfortable around people, which leads us to believe she likely had a home at some point in her life. She does amazing around other dogs and can be playful. She has finished all her vetting protocols and is now ready to find her home!
