Hello, I’m Oakley! Sometimes also called Greñas by everyone at the shelter. I’m a 10‑year‑old, terrier mix who was rescued alongside my buddy Banano. We were running near traffic in Ixtapa near CUC University before someone brought us to safety.
Oakley arrived with low platelets and was treated for Ehrlichia and anemia. Oakley is a sweet, calm dog. He loves attention and will get right into your lap to snuggle. He’s so ready and deserving of a loving home to spend his golden years. We can’t say with certainty that he is house trained. He needs someone patient who would be willing to work with him. Not knowing his past, we have no way to know how he’s lived his life. We do know he is excellent around other dogs and this boy can jump! We’d love to see him out of the busy shelter and in a home where he can get more attention. He loves to snuggle and is happy sitting on a lap!
