Oscar

Male - Mixed Breed

Age: June 2014 | Weight: 15 kg

Oscar gets his name because of where he was rescued. He was found at the dump in Puerto Vallarta and named Oscar (like the Grouch in the trashcan). He had erlichea, TVT and horrible mange. The poor guy must’ve had the longest life ever. He successfully finished chemotherapy and is cancer free. His mange and erlichea are fully healed. He is a funny old man who’s really embracing all the love and fun at the shelter. He doesn’t play with toys. Mostly he hangs out, enjoys napping and gets super excited for treats and people he knows well. He really is a sweet old man who deserves a comfortable home and the safety he lived so long without. Every day his funny personality comes out more and more. He is cautious with new people, but when he knows he’s safe, he embraces the love. Oscar was at a forever foster home but his foster sadly passed away so he is back at the shelter now.
