A family from Puerto Vallarta reached out to us about taking Peluso. Peluso had an owner. Sadly she was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor so couldn’t keep him and her extended family would not take him. So of course we said yes. He needs to be neutered. He has an old jaw injury which can’t be treated. He must’ve been hit with something or hit by a car and never received treatment. He does good around the other dogs and quickly settled in with us. His eyes seemed to be quite goopy. Our vet determined he isn’t blind. He thinks he has pigmentary keratosis, where the eyes turn dark brown/black. He is small size but too large for an in cabin sized travel bag, so would need to travel in a small crate. He should be fully ready for adoption by the end of September.
