Meet miss Peony, one of 4 in a litter of spirited little bundles of energy! This playful group of pups is full of personality. They all wrestle and romp with their siblings. Always up for an adventure, these pups would thrive with an active family who can match the lively spirits and provide plenty of love, exercise, and guidance. This litter was found on the side of the road in Valle de Banderas. Immediately taken to our vet, they tested positive to parvo and had to stay until healthy. Thankfully, all four made a great recovery. Peony is the smallest in the litter. Not knowing the parents we can only estimate the adult weight, but we think she will be 35-45lbs. She has been spayed and is ready for a home!
Peony is very sweet. She does well with other dogs and people. She will be submissive initially to both, for sure. She is the last of her litter waiting for a home! Her 3 siblings have all been adopted (all 3 in BC). We’d love for her to get her chance. She’s a great size and great personality for snuggling on the couch but also outdoor adventuring. She seems to like water and will climb in the water tubs we have at the shelter.
