Peque came to us with 4 others dogs from Tepic, Nayarit. A rescuer had been contacting us asking for help with the many dogs she had. She had not been able to find homes for any of the dogs. She did not have him vetted at all. Now in our care, he’s already been blood tested and vaccinated. He is neutered.
He’s a sweet, social guy. He has a docked tail; likely born that way. He also has an old injury to his right front leg so at times will favor that leg. We can’t say what happened but maybe he was run over by something at some point? But, it does not slow him down. He is a little goof. When you approach him, his entire body wiggles. He does really well at the shelter around large and small dogs and is overall on the quieter side. He loves being picked up and will give little kisses then will tell you when he wants down. He truly deserves a loving home where he can get more attention. He is a favorite among our volunteers.
