Pisces is currently in the Victoria BC Area
Abandoned at the shelter next to our garbage outside the gates, in a box, at 2 months old. A litter of 8 now 7, as one passed. We do not know the parents but expect these pups to be medium sized. Likely she will be 40-45lbs when fully grown. She is a funny puppy. The wiggliest pup you can ever meet. She is great around other dogs and people. She continually makes us laugh with her happy full body wiggles. She likes the water and is sometimes found sitting in our water tubs. We feel she will do really well outside the shelter. She’s dog social, quiet, and loves people. A super sweet girl!
Pisces came into our care quite young. She will need an adopter who understands the decompression time dogs need when they go into a new environment. She will need patience and understanding, but also someone who can work with her to learn how to walk on leash and experience new things!
Pisces flew to Victoria, BC on April 10 and is currently living in Langford. She is making great strides every day. She is showing improvement on the leash and slowly decompressing. She does live with a cat no problem! At this time, it seems that Pisces needs a home with more space, not a condo or apartment. She would do best in a home where she has a bit more room and ideally a yard. There’s no true quiet space where she currently lives. It would also be ideal if someone was around the home more often. Her current family is out of the house 8 hours a day and not able to be with her for a mid-day break. She ejoys hikes!
