Pisces is currently in Mayne Island, BC with a foster family
Abandoned at the shelter next to our garbage outside the gates, in a box, at 2 months old. A litter of 8 now 7, as one passed. We do not know the parents but expect these pups to be medium sized. Likely she will be 40-45lbs when fully grown. She is a funny puppy. The wiggliest pup you can ever meet. She is great around other dogs and people. She continually makes us laugh with her happy full body wiggles. She likes the water and is sometimes found sitting in our water tubs. We feel she will do really well outside the shelter. She’s dog social, quiet, and loves people. A super sweet girl!
Pisces came into our care quite young. She will need an adopter who understands the decompression time dogs need when they go into a new environment.
Update: Pisces flew to Victoria, BC on April 10 and is currently living in Mayne Island. She is showing improvement on the leash and decompressing. She does live with a cat no problem! At this time, it seems that Pisces needs a home with more space, not a condo or apartment. She would do best in a home where she has a bit more room and ideally a yard. It would also be ideal if someone was around the home more often or for her to have a dog sibling. She loves walking on trails and is getting really good being in the car.
