Male - Mixed Breed

Age: February 2014 | Weight: 20kg

Simon was a long time street dog many people were feeding. A tienda owner saw he had a large lump on his back end near his tail and was struggling to poop. Our vet determined he had a perianal hernia. These can be more common in older male dogs who have not been neutered. He will need surgery to have it removed but first we need his blood levels to improve. His platelets were slightly low but he was quite anemic. Unfortunately after being in our care for a couple weeks we noticed blood dripping from his penis. Our vet checked him again and determined he has TVT cancer. He started chemo March 11.
