Skippy is a boy with a gentle soul who’s still learning to trust.
He’s comfortable around children and, despite his nerves, has never shown aggression toward people. Skippy is house‑trained and prefers to go outside—he never soils his crate. On leash, he sometimes hesitates to trust the person taking him out, but once he feels secure, he’ll happily do his business outside.
When it comes to other dogs, Skippy does best with select companions. He isn’t a fan of small dogs, and while he gets along with some larger ones, he can be prone to picking fights with others. Because of this, Skippy would thrive as the only dog in the household or with a carefully chosen canine friend.
What Skippy needs most is a patient, loving family who will give him the time and reassurance he deserves. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, companionship, and the quiet joy of a dog who’s finally found his place.
