Slinky came into our care after through one of our staff members. Someone he knew, was trying to find him a home but had completed no vetting. Our staff knew he needed to be put in responsible adoption so we accepted him. He came in with Ruby, a chiweenie(adopted). He is a standard size dachshund so is not a dog who can ever fly in cabin, if someone is looking for a really small dog.
Slinky seems to get along great with other dogs. We do not feel Slinky should be in a home with young children. He does not like sudden movements or to be caught off guard. Unpredictable movements from children would not be a good match for Slinky. He’s a good boy who needs the right home to feel safe.
