Solo has been with us since 2018, making him one of the very first dogs to join our shelter when we opened. From the beginning, he’s been a natural leader — the dog who helps teach all the new arrivals the ropes and makes them feel at home.
Now a senior, Solo still enjoys the simple pleasures: wandering the grounds, running, swimming, and taking long naps in the sun. He has truly become the shelter king and protector, watching over the pack with quiet strength and wisdom.
Solo came to us around the age of two, and over the years he has grown into a beloved sanctuary dog. He will remain with us for the rest of his life, living out his golden years surrounded by the community he helped shape.
We are honored to have Solo as part of our family — a gentle guardian, a teacher, and a reminder of how far we’ve come since the shelter’s earliest days.
