Little Sunny was abandoned at Paraiso Vallarta with a male, Cooper. She has the best smile! Sunny is a sweet, little, short-legged girl with a big heart! While these two were abandoned and rescued together, we feel it is ok to split them for adoption. They do play nonstop and stick quite close to one another though. Sunny needs a person. Once she finds someone she trusts, she becomes very attached. We are positive they used to live in a home and aren’t “shelter” dogs. Sunny does not do well with all dogs. But, this can also be the overall stress of a shelter environment. She can be alpha to other dogs, always females, if they are in her space. We feel she would be better off with a male dog if the home has another dog. She is smart. She has been known to jump over a 6 ft concrete wall if she has access to a chair or table. The only times she has done this, is to get to another area when she hears her most favorite volunteer. We also don’t want her to go to a home where someone is gone all day. She is very sweet and would be a loyal dog for sure. And a bonus, if you also want Cooper!
