A woman contacted us after seeing Sydney be hit by a car near San Jose. After asking several people in the area if they knew the owners, they were unsuccessful. They were able to immediately grab her and take her to our vet. Currently she is at the shelter getting the vet care and attention she needs. She broke her back right leg so that is being treated/casted. She also has her left front leg wrapped because of the wounds sustained, along with some other abrasions and cuts on her body. She has a string around her neck with a bell so we know somewhere she has an owner. At the same time, anyone who leaves a young pup out in the streets doesn’t deserve a dog so she will stay in our care, be fully vetted and placed for adoption when ready.
