Tipi and Joy were rescued from Tepic, Nayarit. They had an owner, an older gentleman, who clearly neglected them. Anytime he would leave the house, the two dogs would sneak out and a woman would feed them. Seeing their conditions deteriorating, she posted them as needing rescue. We were able to find someone to transport them to us from Tepic.
Tipi (black & white) is super sweet. She LOVES being held, is good with all humans and other dogs. She has been spayed. Her blood tests overall were good with just some slight anemia. She needed to gain a bit of weight as well.
Joy can be initially timid but also warms up quickly. She loves being held. Clearly she needed to gain weight. She has been spayed and had a bladder stone removed. She should be fully ready for adoption by the end of September.
Both are doing well and can be applied for now. They are bonded and will not be separated.
