Trompo had been seen on the northwest side of Bucerias in May. He basically just showed up. One of our volunteers was able to start feeding him but he wasn’t allowing himself to be grabbed. He was also seen on the beach but never with any actual owners. He was then posted in early June as being on the other side of the 200, a very busy and dangerous road to cross. A woman took him in for the night and we got him the next day. He was taken to our vet right away where overall he is a healthy boy. He has started his vetting protocols and could be ready for adoption by the end of June, possibly sooner if he has an approved application. He seems to be a bit fearful of men. Trompo must be in a home with a female. So either with a single female or a couple is fine, but we can’t adopt him to a home with a male only owner. He has no problem with women picking him up. We will post more about him as he settles in. He can be applied for and reserved at any time. Likely this cutie will not last long!
