🐾 Our Brave Sanctuary Boy
Yeti has been with us since April 2022, when he was found as just a little pup. His story is one of survival and strength. Yeti had been hit by a car and left under a vehicle for six days before someone finally called us for help. By then, his back was broken. He was taken to Compostela for evaluation, but surgery was not recommended.
Despite his inability to use his back legs normally and being completely incontinent, Yeti refuses to let anything slow him down. He loves going on walks with our volunteers, running freely on his own, and sometimes zooming around in his wheelchair. To protect him, his back paws are carefully bandaged, since they don’t sit the proper way and can easily be injured without wrapping.
Yeti is a joyful, determined dog who has adapted beautifully to his circumstances. Because of his medical needs, he will remain with us as a cherished sanctuary dog, living out his life surrounded by care, companionship, and love.
